Register for the 2019 Leadership Summit

The Nothing But Nets Leadership Summit provides attendees with workshops and trainings to help them become effective leaders and advocates in their communities, and will conclude with an Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill where they have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their staff.

Registration Information

Leadership Summit tickets include admission to all workshops and trainings, participation in Advocacy Day, and breakfast, lunch, and snacks. This year the Nothing But Nets Leadership Summit is being held at the Washington Marriott Georgetown. Summit attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and we encourage attendees to stay with us at the Washington Marriott Georgetown. Please review our Travel and Accommodation Policies for more information.

Discounted ticket prices are available for Current Champion Council Members.

Current Champions Council Member Discount

Champions Council members are considered active if they have signed and returned a Champions Council Commitment through March 31, 2019. If you signed up for the Champions Council prior to March 31, 2018 and have not recommitted to the Champions Council for the following year, you will not be considered an active member. If you would like to sign up for the Champions Council prior to registration, please email Amma Boateng at ABoateng@unfoundation.org.

Global Health Fellows

This ticket is reserved for students participating in the 2020 Global Health Fellowship. If your chapter requires financial assistance to cover the application fee, please email Amma Boateng at ABoateng@unfoundation.org

Hotel Accommodations

Reservations at the Washington Marriott Georgetown will be made by Nothing But Nets for attendees who wish to share a hotel room. Please fill out the information in Step 2 with your preferences for sharing a room and a roommate.

Nothing But Nets will cover hotel accommodations for Saturday, March 7th, 2020 for Champion Council Members and attendees from the West Coast.

Champions who fail to attend the Leadership Summit or cancel within 30 days (cancel after February 8th 2020) will be held responsible for the cost of their hotel rooms for the two nights booked on their behalves at the Washington Marriott Georgetown. Further detail will be provided in the Leadership Summit acceptance letter.

Travel Arrangements

If you require financial assistance to attend the Leadership Summit, please complete this secure form in advance of arranging travel to Washington D.C.. Travel stipends are for partial reimbursement of a champion’s ticketed travel fees to and from Washington, DC; this does not include the cost of transportation from the Champion’s residence to the airport/bus station, nor transportation in Washington, D.C..

Reimbursements will only be honored for attendees who participate in the Advocacy Day on March 10th and will be distributed to champions as wire transfers in late April. Travel stipend are awarded at the discretion of Nothing But Nets and may vary between champions based on the champion’s distance from Washington, DC, and by the mode of transportation the champion chooses. If a better and or more affordable travel option is available to the champion from the locality of residence, then Nothing But Nets will award the stipend amount based on the cost of our suggestion.
